2019 and the start of 2020 has seen changes within the waste and recycling sector like never before. The media has reported extensively on the challenges the waste industry is facing and highlighted factors including the ban on imported waste plastic and waste paper into China & now Indonesia which has caused a huge impact on worldwide recycling markets.

With the limited recycling outlets available to accept our waste and rates of disposal ever on the rise, we are unable to absorb the disposal costs any longer.  With immediate effect from Monday 6th January 2020 a new price list for all waste streams will be introduced. 

With the annual rise in landfill tax looming an increase in our skip hire rates will also be necessary in the coming months.

We will continue with our efforts to find alternative waste outlets and minimise where possible any impact on our customers.

 Please Note: all waste will be subject to inspection and any contaminated loads may result in a surcharge or requested to reload the waste.

Special Instructions/ Pre-Treatment Requirements: we have supplied guidelines for waste grades – it is the customers responsibility to apply any necessary pre-treatment before they enter the site.

Off-Loading Time: Due to the busy nature of the Recycling Centre, we must limit tipping time to a maximum 15 minutes per load. Any additional time will be charged at £60.00 per hour.
